Poland's raw materials policy until 2050 assumes, among other things, increased use of geothermal energy, underground storage of substances and storage of CO2 in rock masses. In these areas, we offer geothermal drilling, which has a direct impact on the development of renewable energy sources and drilling for the construction of underground storage facilities for crude oil, gases and fuels. By using a number of trenchless technologies for pipeline installation, we also fit into the strategy for the protection of biodiversity, which aims to protect nature and ecosystems.
The process of energy transformation in the European Union towards climate neutrality is currently a challenge for many companies, not only in our country. It is a process consisting of, among other things, reducing energy consumption, maximizing greenhouse gas emissions through the use of new and pro-environmental technologies and the use of renewable energy sources.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY PIPELINE INSTALLATION TECHNOLOGIES - ECOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF TRENCHLESS PIPELINE INSTALLATION

Minimization of earthworks (only the amount of soil removed is equal to the volume of trenchless pipes and the size of the constructed starting and receiving chambers)

The latest Direct Pipe technology does not require the construction of a receiving chamber, which minimizes interference in the terrain and the need to carry out work on both sides of the drilling (no need to reserve space for the lyre on the other side of the drilling, the head is dismantled only in the receiving trench)
Minimizing the possibility of contamination and lowering the groundwater table, which is possible during excavation using traditional methods.
Drainage works are carried out point by point, where the sending and receiving chambers are located, in the case when the drilling is carried out below the groundwater level. There is no need to carry out linear drainage as in the case of traditional excavations.
Reduction of exhaust fumes and noise by limiting transport due to the reduction of many work stages occurring in traditional pipeline laying methods.
Minimizing the possibility of damaging the root systems of trees and shrubs, which could lead to their drying out.

Possibility of drilling under rivers, infrastructure facilities, protected areas such as national and landscape parks, reserves, Natura 2000 areas and other valuable natural areas without the need to interfere with natural resources or riverbeds.

Our pro-ecological achievements

We have constructed flood embankments, inter-embankment areas and rebuilt riverbeds, including: Odra, Vistula, Nysa, Młynówka, Czarny Kanał, Racza Struga for flood protection in several Polish cities: Krosno Odrzańskie, Słubice, Opole
We performed the drilling using Direct Pipe technology after the failure of the sewage transfer collector from the left-bank part of Warsaw to the "Czajka" sewage treatment plant, reducing the sewage outflow time to a minimum.

We have drilled XXX geothermal wells in Poland and XXX in Europe, providing access to Renewable Energy Sources (RES)

We constructed two underground gas storage tanks in the rock masses.

We have performed XXX trenchless drillings in Poland and Europe, of which over 50% were for landscape protection purposes: reserves, parks, Natura 2000 areas and the protection of valleys and river floodplains.
We contributed to the diversification of gas supply sources by participating in the construction of the Baltic Pipe gas pipeline for GAZ-SYSTEM S.A.

Reducing environmental interference through the use of trenchless technologies and activities in the area of geothermal energy and renewable energy sources allow us to carry out work in accordance with the principle of sustainable development.
We also strive to optimize our processes and implement a circular economy by minimizing the use of raw materials and the generation of waste. In terms of the environment, we have certificates in accordance with the ISO 14001:2015 standard
